The Runna app is designed to help runners worldwide achieve their fitness goals. Think of it like your own virtual coach. And it's certainly having an impact. With £1.9 million raised from investors including Crowdcube and Eka Ventures, Runna set out to expand into the US as the official training partner for the LA Marathon. To support this growth, however, the Runna team realised they required a range of insurance products.
Runna’s insurance needed to cover both online activities and in-person events. Capsule got to work, simplifying Runna’s US contract and consolidating policies for easy management. We also added Professional Indemnity and Cyber policies. In just four weeks, we had successfully put a robust programme in place.
Along with our unique expertise, Runna also made use of Capsule’s secure API. CAPTURE/ is a platform designed to improve the complicated, time-consuming task of submitting information when setting up insurance. By sharing its data through our API, Runna enjoyed a hassle-free process right up to the finish line.
